Chinon Cuvée Tradition 2024
A fresh and light-bodied white wine, characterised by vibrant acidity and fruit-forward aromas.
Cabernet Franc
The Loire Valley’s flagship red grape variety, Cabernet Franc produces refined and well-balanced wines. It develops aromas of red berries, violet and, at times, elegant herbal notes. Fresh and supple on the palate, it is appreciated for its drinkability as well as its ageing potential.
History
Introduced to the Loire Valley in the 17th century, notably through the Abbey of Bourgueil, Cabernet Franc became the foundation of some of the region’s greatest red wines. It is also the parent grape of Cabernet Sauvignon, the result of a natural crossing.
