Bourgueil Brunetière 2023
A supple and generous red wine, driven by fruit with a well-balanced finish.
Bourgueil Brunetière 2023
The Bourgueil appellation stretches between the Loire River and the surrounding hillsides, producing powerful and refined red wines made exclusively from Cabernet Franc. Rooted in an ancient vineyard tradition, the appellation is renowned for the structure and ageing potential of its wines.
Two major terroirs shape the identity of Bourgueil: the gravel terraces, which produce fruity and approachable wines, and the limestone slopes, which give rise to deeper, more concentrated cuvées. This duality brings remarkable stylistic diversity to the appellation.
Bourgueil wines are distinguished by intense aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and spices, sometimes evolving towards notes of liquorice and forest floor with age. On the palate, the tannins are structured yet elegant, providing excellent ageing potential. These are wines of character, appreciated for their authenticity and their true expression of terroir.
